Easy Chair 1788

In 1936 Wegner attended the School of Arts and Crafts’ where he met and befriended fellow Jutlander Børge Mogensen also specialising in cabinet making.

In 1945 the two friends decided to co operate on designing an entry that years Snedkerlauget, the annual Cabinet Makers Guild Exhibition in Copenhagen. They spent time at a holiday cottage and collaborated on the design of all of the furniture for the exhibition.  …read more >>
