Following the devastating fire on 8 February 2024 when the wood working production was lost the Directors of Getama agreed that production of all Getama Wegner models are transferred to Carl Hansen and Son as of January 2025 with anticipated production in 2026.

Wegner had designed the GE290 The Plank chair with its practical armrests in the early 1950’s and he returned to this practical theme in the design of this linking series of connectable chairs. The wide practical arms can be added where required in pairs on a single unit or at either end of a row of connected chairs.
