The flowing lines and gentle curves of the Vita sofa is one of the best examples of the collaboration between designer Nanna Ditzel and  her husband Jørgen who was a trained upholsterer. Vita was first launched by Søren Willadsen in 1951 and has been produced by Getama A/S since 2014.

The use of contrasting fabrics on the seat upholstery and to highlight the buttoned upholstery on the back is as contemporary today as it was  modern when Ditzel drew the design over sixty years ago.
